Studio Calendar for 2008-2009
Aug 4, 2008 Lesson resume after summer break.
Aug 25 - 29, 2008 No Lessons. Personal Week Off (1 week)
Nov. 24 - 28, 2008 No Lessons. Thanksgiving Break (1 week)
Dec. 15 - Jan 5, 2009 No Lessons. Christmas Break. (3 weeks)
Mar. 23 - 27, 2009 No Lessons. Spring Break (1 week)
Mar. 30- Apr. 3, 2009 No Lessons. National Conference in Atlanta (1 week)
June 1 - 5, 2009 No Lessons. State Convention (1 week)
June 23, 2009 Summer Break (6 weeks)
Aug. 4, 2009 Lessons Resume
Two weeks are reserved for emergency purposes. One week was used in August 2008. If
one more week is used, the summer break will start one week later.
TEACHING SCHEDULE
I teach 38 weeks out of the year generally from 3:00 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. Monday through
Friday and Wednesday morning. As outlined by dates above, the studio is closed 14 weeks
each year as follows:
. Thanksgiving Week
. The three weeks between Christmas and New Years
. The week of Spring Break
. The week of the National Teacher’s Convention (when not held during Spring Break)
. The first week in June (State Teacher’s Convention)
. Summer Break (7 weeks unless some are used for emergency purposes during the year)

The studio is open regardless of weather conditions, school days off, or national holidays. It
is only closed as outlined, above. I ask that you determine if the weather is too bad or the
roads are too icy to safely get to your lesson. If so, we will re-schedule your lesson if you
wish. Several holidays fall on Monday and lessons will be held, as usual.
